How we work
David Brown Lighting is a design consultancy. The company has a team of experienced designers but just as important is the back up service, the newly installed project management team who are positioned to ensure things run smoothly.
Whatever the scale of a project, by maintaining clear lines of communication, we ensure our clients are always informed of how the work is progressing.
We offer our services in several ways.
Initial Design Briefing
To explore your ideas and make the most of the services we offer, fitting in to your budgets and timescales, we undertake an initial design briefing. We will come to the site, have a look around, chat to you about your requirements and come up with an outline plan and estimate. There is a nominal fee for this service, so give us a call and we can discuss it further.
Fee Based Lighting Design Consultancy:
This service is based on an agreed fee for a prescribed design project. The fee will often cover:
- Development of design concept through to final scheme
- Technical scheduling and product specification including specialist control systems
- Design of bespoke lighting
- Advice on effective energy management
Quality Assurance
We are very demanding of our team and feel sure you will be too. We have strict in-house procedures to sign off drawings before they get to our clients. We have a dedicated project management team to oversee progress and budget. And we have a ‘snagging’ procedure after fitting to make sure we’ve delivered to promise.
David Brown Lighting will work in conjunction with the overall project design and construction team, providing specialist lighting know-how.
Lighting Design Consultancy with Product Supply Service:
This service incorporates the Fee Based Lighting Design Consultancy as outlined above together with product supply which can include specialist lighting control systems.
David Brown Lighting can be responsible for the placement, selection, supply and delivery of all lighting fixtures and fittings.
